Worship involves all that we do together as the body of believers. At Jamestown Christian Church, we worship God through reading the Bible; listening to the preaching of God's Word; sharing in an offering of our gifts and tithes; and spending time in fellowship between services.

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” - John 4:23-24 (NIV)

What To Expect

Worship Service

Jamestown Christian Church is blessed with a great Praise and Worship Ministry. The mission of this ministry is to prepare the hearts of those attending for worship and accepting the Word.

The style of music is diverse in our services. You will participate in services that include Contemporary, Southern Gospel, and Traditional Hymns. Each Sunday is different and offers an opportunity for each individual to share in their desired worship style.

Times and directions can be found here.       Church Calendar can be found here.

Communion and Offering

Communion is available every week during both services. We practice open communion and invite all Christians to partake of the bread and juice as they are served.

As a guest, you are not expected to make an offering, but certainly may if you are so led.  Offerings are made by our members as part of their commitment to God and the church. As Christians, we give as we have been blessed out of our love for our Lord and Savior. If you are visiting with us, feel free to pass the plates. Our prayer is that you receive a blessing from the service.
